A platform created to enable manufacturers and suppliers to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine is now accepting offers from foreign companies.
ProdUkrainewhich was established by the Ukrainian State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in March this year, is part of the country’s national food safety platform to provide food and basic necessities to local communities.
The online platform helps distribution chains and suppliers to collaborate more effectively in different regions of Ukraine – manufacturers and suppliers can offer products or respond to existing offers and agree on a contract.
Currently, daily necessities are among the most searched items through the platform, including food items (eggs, dairy, meat, fish), beverages, baby and child care, and household items. . All types of merchandise are accepted, with the exception of alcoholic products.
Nearly 320 users have already registered on the platform, and submitted more than 700 offers, while 110 matches between suppliers and retailers have been established on ProdUkraine in less than a month.
According to a statement, the creators of the platform want to “attract as many Ukrainian and foreign producers and suppliers as possible”. We are all united in the mission of feeding the country together”.

A number of retailers and manufacturers across Europe have already pledged to support humanitarian aid in the country, given the worsening situation there.
