ZEISS and Williams Racing are proud to work in partnership in a multi-year association, with ZEISS being an Official Supplier to the team. As part of this partnership, ZEISS provides a range of equipment benefiting all departments of the company, including Wind Tunnel, Quality & Inspection and Prototyping & Testing.

The installation of a new ZEISS METROTOM 1500 industrial CT system at the team’s Grove campus in the UK will expand the team’s internal capabilities and provide better insights into component quality and integrity, guaranteeing an accurate, precise and robust quality control process.

“Before we had ZEISS METROTOM, there were features on components that we couldn’t physically measure because it’s a real game-changer for us” comments Matthew Parker Inspection Manager, Williams Racing.

The Zeiss ZEISS METROTOM 1500 installed Advanced CT technology enables fast part scans and helps to rreduced risk of stoppages along the way, improved collaboration between design, manufacturing, quality assurance and supplier teams, and reduced lead times for parts production.
