Living with a physical disability is not something you can imagine if you are able-bodied; however, Jarred McGinnis had to deal with it. After surviving a tragic car accident, McGinnis found himself in a wheelchair and learned to navigate his life in new ways.
In order to support himself financially, he had to return home to his estranged father. The journey to heal both her body and her relationship with her father teaches McGinnis that not everything should stay broken.
This heartbreaking true story is detailed in McGinnis’ debut novel titled The cowardto be released Tuesday, April 12. McGinnis, a Siesta Key-born, Florida-raised author, will host a live event at Bookstore1 in downtown Sarasota on Friday, April 22, where guests can hear her talk about the book and pick up a signed copy.
